Steve went back after dinner to continue helping with remodeling for the new Calvary Chapel of Laramie, Wyoming. We had the tent set up with the top canvas off, so that we could enjoy the stars. It was a beautiful clear evening. I had just finished writing the poem on last blog and was now relishing a gorgeous sunset.
In the distance I saw rain streaking down in the orange sky. I knew I had to prepare for rain. Normally, both of us have put on the canvas top over our eight man tent, but tonight it looked like I was flying solo. I prayed and asked for help and the canvas spread over the top in one sweep! I started praising Him whom issued me grace.
Steve was anticipating the worse as he raced to the campsite with forceful winds, lightning and heavy rain ahead. He expected me to be angry and balling with tears. Instead, I gave praise and honor to Him who is worthy.
Below is a picture of the beautiful sunset at the campsite.
