Remembering A Hearts Melody

We stopped in Laramie Wyoming yesterday. Steve spent the day doing construction on a old church with beautiful stain class window. This is to be the new Calvary Chapel. While he worked, I sat outside and read the word and composed a song. The poem below was a result and reflection of the day.

The journal pages are open for view,
I ponder my day and write something new.
My pen is ready to use as applause for my King,
My heart in tune resonates its happiness, wanting to sing.
Entering into His presence started my day,
An intermingling of communion came into play,
With eagerness I sought Him out,
Now remembering, my heart wants to shout!
With accolades the chorus continues its beating,
Like a deer panting, I desire Loves' repeating.
Remember my soul how grace abounding elicits this appeal,
Journal its remembrance, journal This wonderful zeal,
Describe with me how a relationship with my Savior is real.

Below is a picture of a stained glass window inside the church.
